Delicately painted in tones of brilliant sapphire-blue tone on the rounded sides below the slightly everted mouth rims with two groups of boys at play in a garden landscape, each group divided by balustrade terraces detailed with ornamental rocks and a willow tree, the first group of boys wearing vests, gathered around a vat of water whilst the second group is dressed in tunics and variously playing musical instruments.
